On-going expansion for leading Midlands’ commercial property specialist Andrew and Ashwell is reflected in the firm’s new-look city centre office.
Andrew and Ashwell’s London Road base has gained a revamped image with a smart new logo and new high-tech data systems, while a front of house refurbishment adds extra space for the growing team of professionals.
Established in Leicester for nearly 150 years, Andrew and Ashwell remains a field leading commercial property agency, providing expert coverage across the whole spectrum of commercial property matters throughout the Midlands.
The firm has recently made substantial investment in cutting edge technology, installing Category 6 IT cabling throughout the building to upgrade office planning and computer systems.
“At the same time as installing the cabling, it made sense to upgrade and expand our office accommodation, as the team here continues to grow,” explained Director Malcolm Grayson.
Work is now almost complete on the front of house office, with the original porch entrance now incorporated into the main building, opening up and creating a bright, contemporary new reception area.
Business has been expanding for Andrew and Ashwell, with rising demand for commercial premises creating an upturn in the market over the past year, necessitating a larger team of professionals, said Malcolm.
“Over the last few years we have been joined several well-known faces on the Leicestershire property scene, including James Blenkin and Tom Meynell and just a few weeks ago by Geoff Gibson, bringing our team of chartered surveyors up to eight. We have also recently recruited another graduate with a view to serving our long-term development of the business.
“Sheer hard work has driven us forward and all the directors remain both energetic and dedicated to seeing the business grow, with effective management and continued improvement of the agency side of the business.
